OTC Medical is a veteran-owned, RN-founded medical supply company based in Maine and dedicated to helping individuals, caregivers, and healthcare professionals access dependable home medical equipment at affordable prices.

Founded by a registered nurse with more than 36 years of healthcare experience, OTC Medical was created to help address a growing need for affordable, reliable medical supplies and better access to home healthcare equipment. Throughout a career that included geriatric care, trauma nursing, primary care, discharge planning, case management, and community health, we saw firsthand how difficult it could be for patients and caregivers to obtain the right medical equipment quickly, affordably, and with proper guidance.

Our founder also served in the United States Army as both a combat medic and Army Nurse Corps officer, including leadership roles within Army Combat Support Hospitals as an assistant chief nurse. Experience in military healthcare logistics, operations, and medical planning reinforced the importance of dependable equipment, efficient delivery systems, and practical solutions that support patient care in real-world settings.

OTC Medical was built on the belief that people deserve access to trusted healthcare products along with knowledgeable support when making decisions about medical equipment for themselves or their loved ones.
